Split of from the main hall of 760 gamers who plugged in their own machines, here are the teams competing in the NZ-WCG Qualifiers on the comp-stage. These guys are all using the same machines as supplied by Playtech - so it's "mano-e-mano", a test of the gamers skill, pitted against each other on a level laying field technology wise.

Who has the best reactions, best timing, the most cunning approach? Like the SAS motto "Those who dare, win". Here are the current gamers at each other on stage with live commentary for the spectators...

And now for the close up.... the big Samsung screen looking at us is the same game-view that this 'Sidewinder' is playing on - so as a spectator, you see it from their perspective... "Duck incominnnnnnngggg!"
