rebel.jpg Well, recent media coverage has suggested the link. However, over the weekend I scientifically researched the proposition by watching Rebel Without a Cause (1955). Turns out teens have been doing nasty things with cars and guns since before computer games were even invented, let alone the latest installment of the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

Isn’t GTA R18 and the kids in question only 14? How can they be influenced by a game they too young to play or view?

I reckon violent video games are all part of the jigsaw which, along with violent movies, violent news reports and violent sports make up a picture of violence being a normal part of life.

The same items also provide some pretty good inspiration for those with violent predispositions.

Do we need that crap ?

Ah but politicians and the media today need to jump on some bandwagon and video games are easy prey.
