Friday afternoon game!

hamster sudoku.jpg
Everybody loves Sudoku ... well, except for the maths. Hamster Sudoku is the perfect solution! Place the nine hamster images into the grid without doubling up vertically, horizontally or within each three-by-three block. When you're done, you can choose a whole new set of images from Flickr based on any keyword you want.

Plummeting president!

bush.jpg
Rumour has it this is the most popular screensaver in the US at the moment — President Bush taking a perpetual tumble. (If he gets stuck, you can move him with your cursor).

Got a cool screensaver you'd like to share?

Non-sequelitis

I bet this is a movie sequel that would do better than the original, for a change.

AWWWW!

cute.jpg
Crikey, Monday morning already? A bit hard to handle sometimes, innit? But even the most hardened IT geek that lives for first-person-shooting and sneers at their receptionist's "Hang In There" poster won't be able to resist a smile at this collection of cuteness.

Get swotting with this new conversion table: Ratio of an igloo's circumference to its diameter = Eskimo Pi; 2000 pounds of Chinese soup = Won ton; Time between slipping on a peel and smacking the pavement = 1 bananosecond; 1 million-million microphones = 1 megaphone ...

Can you tell the difference between a serial killer and a programmer? I got 7/10.

World's largest error message

As blogged by PC World's American cousin Network World, the world's biggest error message recently loomed large in New York's dazzling Times Square.
I especially love how it says "Please tell Microsoft about this problem" in big bold letters, like they won't notice it themselves on a two-storey high neon e-billboard on the world's busiest street corner.

The real Simpsons

simpsons.jpgThis ad for Briitish broadcasters BSkyB is a live-action version of the opening titles of The SImpsons. Cute. Too bad they didn't recreate Marge's hair, though ...
