blunt.jpgWell it's about time someone did it. English radio station Essex FM has banned James Blunt from its airwaves.

"We don't have anything against James Blunt and we're pleased he has been so successful, but we really need a break," said the programme controller. "We encourage other radio stations to take the same step."

Can we get a round of applause for Essex FM? Take note, Canwest.

Also, will somebody please tell James Blunt what a "semi" is? (Update: Someone did.)

No, will someone please tell James Blunt what a song is. And while we're about it, can someone also take away his copy of Alanis Morissette's music industry guide, "How to Take Your 6th Form Diary and Turn it Into an Album".
