New Norton 360 offers iPad, iPhone and Android apps
New Applications for iPad, iPhone and Android are designed to give Norton 360 and Norton Online Backup users access to their files anywhere.
Norton is introducing its first beta application for the Android and plans to introduce its first beta applications for the iPad and iPhone in the next few weeks.
After downloading a free application from the iPhone App Store or the Android Market, consumers who have stored data online with Norton 360 or Norton Online Backup can access and share their documents, music, photos or videos directly from their device. Files can be downloaded or a link to files can be emailed to a user’s contacts.
Norton 360 version 4.0 is now available for purchase in New Zealand through retailers and the Symantec online store at symantecstore.com. The free beta mobile application for Android is available now, and beta mobile applications for the iPad and iPhone are planned to be available free of charge on the iPhone App Store and Android Market in the next few weeks.
The latest version of Norton 360 supports Microsoft XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. The suggested retail price is NZ $129.95 for the standard edition including 2GB of online storage space and NZ $149.95 for the premium edition including 25GB of online storage space. The price for both standard and premium editions includes a three PC licence.
