XT gets Android

Telecom is releasing the Motorola Milestone, an Android 2.1 powered smartphone.

The Milestone is a thin, touchscreen phone with a QWERTY keypad and slider design.
It features a DVD quality video recorder, a 5 megapixel camera and 8GB of storage - with the option to upgrade to 32GB.
The Milestone will be available for an RRP of $999 from 1 July.

Sony's new sporty Walkman W can be washed along with your sports duds after a sweaty workout. Not in the machine, obviously, but under the tap.

The W250 Walkman is available in black, white or pink. A short three-minute charge will get you 90 minutes of tunes, and a fully charged battery will see you through an 11-hour ultra-marathon. There's 2GB of onboard storage for your Let's Get Physical soundtrack and the W will set you back just a monthly fancy gym memberhipish $140.
