At a first glance, it seems the Aussies are spending billions on infrastructure too. I was looking for the bits in the budget mentioning the fibre network build haven't found them yet.

This will put pressure on the NZ government.

Tax cuts off topic ?
Nope.. its a valid bleet topic.
We do pay a lot of tax being IT Geeks and Aussie gears itself a bit better to 'Doing Stuff' whereas NZ just continually drones on that its all about 'LifeStyle' here...
But hey ! thats what you have to expect from a population of Sheep that are content with making do with the old proverbial No.8 wire ! Its a Head State and most of us Kiwis are perfecty happy blandly imitating the Ostrich.
A great shame because NZ could be so much more creative if it lost its 'Oh-Well' attitude.. The Red and Blue parties are both Gray and lifeless - the policies reflect this well.
